Growth Profile

Anchal I Harris Library brought up to a “A Grade Libraray” within five years of childhood. It is established at anchal town. It keep “A grade” till  now. Now it operates on its own well equipped building. It is planned to computerize with next year. It shows a vertical growth on the no of books and the no of events/ social welfare activities. Because of this it recognize many achievements in Performance by the Government. 

 

A I HARRIS

AI HARRIS of  thoppil puthenveetil was  born at Alayamon (Anchal) , Kollam(Dist) as the son of  Mr A. Ibrahimkutty and Rasheedha Beevi.M on 1979 September 23.

He initiates his educational activities on the age of two. He officially start education at 3.5 Year old. He has excellent talent on drawing, imitating, writing and enthusiastic with colors. He shows his excellence with numbers too at this time itself. He is very talkative with livings and nature.

He joined  for schooling at the age of five. He studied at Govt. New L P School, Alayamon, Govt. New L P School, Agasthyakode, Govt vocational higher secondary school, Anchal East, Govt Higher secondary School, Kunchithanni, Idukki. He completed hi his secondary education in 1994 with First class.

He joined Anchal St Johns College for Pre Degree First Group and Joined to Bsc Mathematics. He successfully completed Bsc mathematics and get graduated from the college. He has a strong relation with anchal St Johns college on this interval of five years.  After his Graduation he acquired his technical talent from PGDCA course. During this period He is more enthusiastic towards journalism. He wish to sharpen his talent towards the world language. So he joined to Master of Arts at Thirupathi sree Venkidachalam University on distance education. Unfortunately he was not able to complete his Post graduation on arts.

He got death at Paluruvi water falls at Kerala Tamilnadu Border on 2001- February-21.

About His Father

 He  is a mathematics teacher by  profession. He is a writer of many books on mathematics. He is takes his role on literature as a Actor, Director  on Drama Societies. He is the catalyst behind A.HARRIS, The Actor, The Director, The Short film maker , The Drama man, The Kathikan (Story teller), The technical behind cameras, The Performer, The Journalist, etc and etc

Milestones of A I Harris on his short life span

1987-

At third standard he become “Kalaprathibha” at anchal sub jilla kalolsavam. He got first prize at Kollam revenue district on Kathaprasangam, Fancy Dress, Nadodi nirtham, Drama.

1988-

He became “Sub jilla Kalaprathibha” and  “Revanue jilla Kalaprathibha”.  He got first prize at district level for following items Chitra rajana, sastreeya sangeetham, Katha Prasabngam, Nadodi nirtham, Veena, Violin.

1989-

He became “Ganitha Swami” on state ganitha sasthramela  conducted at kalpatta. He become “Sub jilla Kalaprathibha” . He got first prize at district level for following items  Katha Prasabngam, Veena, Violin, Mono act, Padyam Chellal, Ganamela, Vrindha vadya sangeetham.

1990-

He got a scholarship from “kerala sangeetha nadaka academy”. He became “Ganitha Swami”  again and make conspirous on media. He become “Sub jilla Kalaprathibha” and “Revenue Jilla Kala Prathibha” . He got recognized as akashavani  dooradharsan artist.

1991-

He become a part of international film fest as student representative. He got nana mini screen award.  He got first prize for mono act on sisudinam celibration at district level. He became “Sub jilla Kalaprathibha”. He got first prize at district level for following items  Katha PrasabngamMono act, Padyam Chellal, Ganamela, Vrindha vadya sangeetham. He got grade at state level.

1992-

He become “Sub jilla Kalaprathibha” and “Revenue jilla Kalaprathibha”. He got first prize at district level for following items  Ottamthullal, Kathakali,Katha , Mono act, Vrindha vadya sangeetham. He got 2^nd prize on Guitar, Kathakali sangeetham, Arabana Muttu, Drama. He became more broadcasted on akashavani and dooradharsan on various cultural programs. He direct a drama on his 12^th year of living named “ Kina Kunnungal “ which recognized as first position on Revenue District level. He become “Ganitha Swami”  again and got 1^st prize on state ganitha sastra mela. He scored a cultural talent search scholarship from Govt of india for seven years. He got  second prize for padyan chellal on sisudinam celibration at district level. He got winner at position one on district saksharatha samathi and scored at position two on sakshratha sangeetham.

He direct a movie/short film for children at this age. It was first one of its kind in India. He take role of script writer, director, actor  etc. He score first position on essay writing and Speech conducted by forest department kerala.

1993-

He got recognized as best actor on a sound and music onam program broad casted prasath bharathi, Bangalore. He become “Sub jilla Kalaprathibha”.

1994-

He become “Sub jilla Kalaprathibha”- Adimali. He score first position  on guitar, kathaprasangam, kathakali sangeetham at idukki district level. He score first position on essay writing conducted by forest department kerala.

1995-

He become “Kalaprathibha “ at Anchal St Johns College. He participated Mahatmaghandi University Children theater workshop. He got  first prize on essay writing competition. He get enrolled as a journalist of madhyamam dinapatram (Daily).

1996-

He become “Kalaprathibha “ at Anchal St Johns College. He got  first prize on essay writing competition at district level. He got participated at Malayala Manorama Akila Kerala Balajana Sakhyam State camp. He got first prize on Katha Prasangam at Trivandrum Zone. He became a literary activist by enrolling himself as Editor of Samasya Masika.  

1997-

He become “Kalaprathibha “ at Anchal St Johns College. He got participated at Kathaprasanga silpasala coordinated by Kerala Sangeetha Nadaka  Academy, Kerala.  He became take role as student activist as taking charge as Collage Arts club Secretary. He got participated at  film camp conducted at thiruvanathapuram Chitranjaly studio by State. He got  first prize on mono act, sasthreeya sangeetham by literary fest conducted by Mathurbhumi Study Circle.

1998-

He got participated  pakshikootam vignana poshana camp conducted by Akila kerala balajanasakhyam, Malayala manorama. He got participated  in state level Campus Line Film workshop conducted by, Malayala manorama. He got first prize on event conducted on easy writing by Kerala University Department of Publications.

1999-

He got participated in various state level workshops on Direction and Acting.

2000-

He takes role of script writer and Actor for Features, Comedy Shows on Televisions Channels.

2001-

 He got recognized for his scripts for Televisions and become a recognizable Media Man.

 In Memory of Anchal I Harris “Anchal I Harris memorial library” got inaugurated on 30.05.2001 morning by  PS Supal MLA. First book allotment ceremony conducted  by Kerala State Library Council Vice President Adv  K Raju.

Book Selections includes Reference Books, Techers training Materials, Competitive exam Path finders, PSC Test question banks, Stories, Short stories, Literary works Novels, History Books, English Books, Grammar Books, Science Books etc.  The library has a monthly circulation of about 2000 books.

We have a collection of 9 dailies in Malayalam and English includes Mangalam, Madhyamam, Manorama, Mathurbhumi, Deshabhimani , Kerala Kaumudhi, Indian Express, Hindu.  We provide weakly collections of 15 Periodicals.

VANITHA BOOK CIRCULATION

We have recognized as a Vanitha Pusthaka Vitharana Kenthram becoude of the fact that we have plenty of books belonging to the category of Village Life.

CARRIER GUIDENCE AND COUNCILING

Our library is recognized as carrier guidance center of thaluk from 2007. This is because of considering our initiative towards  carrier guidance for un employed youth.

We conducts various free couching classes, free model tests and various promotional schemes to empower the educated youth towards service sector. Also we give initiatives to conduct higher education seminars at multiple locations of thaluk for the  past five years.  The classes are  led by eminent educationalists like Dr. Krishnamanohar, C MohanDas, Prof. M V Saimon, Prof P Krishnankutty, Kannankodu Pradeep Etc.

EXAM ORIENTATION PROGRAM

We conduct special packages to promote backward class on education to obtain excellent scores with the help of specially trained/Experienced teachers. 

HEALTH EDUCATION CLASSES

Library conducts regular classes on various aspects of health.  It help us to get aware of how to be protect yourself. We also show social commitment through  classes on mosquito killing, importance of social hygiene. We provides free resistive  medicines . The classes are led by Dr Krishnamenon,Dr Devadas, Dr V.K Jayakumar, Dr Radhakrishnan, Dr Jogesh, Dr mohanlal, Dr K Reghu etc..

AKSHARA SLOKHA SADASSU

Akshara Slokam (അക്ഷര ശ്ലോകം) is a traditional way of Sloka chanting, a poetic entertainment developed in the Malayalam (മലയാളം) language of Kerala, India. It is in a classical format with strict rules on the meter of quatrains called slokas or mukthaka. A number of scholars sit to recite either Sanskrit or Malayalm slokas ( with more than eight letters in a line ). Once the recitation is started the next one in the turn has to recite a sloka having the first letter of the third line of the previous sloka. This resembles the north Indian Beit bazi.

AI Harris Memorial Library New Building

On the event new building of the library got inaugurated by Mr Adv K Raju MLA on the presence of Pathanapuram Thaulk Ex Secretary P Ravindran, Pathanapuram Thaulk Secretary P Krishnankutty, Easter construction manager M Salim. On the event rank holders of Kerala University  cash awarded by anchal St Johns College Principal K V Thomaskutty sponsored by Anchal I Haris Library.

After cultural programs of Kalaprathibhas brought up by Library A Social Drama named “Narabhogikalude Alayam” directed by A I Kutty father of A I Harris is get played on stage.
